School Fees and Assistance
Marist College Emerald, as an authentic Catholic school, provides a comprehensive curriculum, committed and dedicated staff, and contemporary resources and facilities to meet the needs of our students. To support the provision of outstanding educational service to the community, school fees are set at an appropriate level.
School Funding
Federal and State Government Grants and School fees fund the operations of our school. The Federal Government’s means-tested assessment of the Capacity to Contribute of the school community determines the amount of Grant funding provided. School fees align with these Government funding
parameters.
Our Simple and Transparent Approach to School Fees
A simple and transparent fee structure enables families to understand the cost of their child’s education. Rather than a tuition fee plus numerous levies and add-on charges, we present our school fees as an All-Inclusive Education fee that covers the curriculum offering of the school. The only other charge is a Building Levy, which funds the capital costs of providing contemporary and educationally engaging spaces for our students and staff. The school may offer some activities that fall outside the curriculum offerings of the school. Should your child choose to participate in these, Specific Purpose charges will apply. Parent Lounge
Parent Lounge provides parents and families with an online portal, with access to a range of information and services.
Parents are provided with a Username and Password on enrolment, and logging in will provide access to the following services:
- Check attendance records
- View student timetables
- View current and past academic reports
- View individual subject results
- Email class teachers
- Book and view Parent Teacher Interview appointments
- Electronically accept and pay for tours, excursions, and school activities
- Check and pay account statements online
- Update student and family details and medical information
- Access School notices and policies
- Access the Sports Portal for handbooks, fixtures, and results

FAQs
I cannot remember my username, what does it look like?
Your username is a six digit number that will be provided when your family first starts Marist College. If you misplace this number, please contact the School Reception.
How do I change my password?
From the PARENT DETAILS menu, select CHANGE PASSWORD. We recommend you do this occasionally with a strong password, to ensure your account remains safe.
How can I view my child’s timetable?
From the STUDENT DETAILS menu, scroll down and click on TIMETABLE. From here, elect your child from the filter at the top right, and scroll through days using the arrows on the top left.
How can I contact teachers through Parent Lounge?
From the STUDENT DETAILS menu, select EMAIL CLASS TEACHER.
I have updated our family contact information, but it doesn’t seem to have changed. Why?
To ensure accurate details are maintained, quality checks are in place. Our Administration Staff will review and approve changes before they appear back in Parent Lounge. If there are any problems, we’ll be in contact!
How do I pay my school fees online?
From the MAKE A PAYMENT menu, select SCHOOL FEES ACCOUNT.
Bus Information
There are two Bus Companies that operate a Public Bus Service to Emerald from Blackwater, Capella, Clermont and Tieri that operate under the Non-State School Transport Assistance Scheme (NSSTAS) which transport students to Marist College. Please contact your chosen bus company directly to book a seat.
