Back to School Information
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school for the upcoming academic year; Marist especially welcomes Year 7 students and those who commence at Marist College for the first-time this year. In preparation for the year ahead please read through the information below.
Office Hours
The Marist College office will reopen on Monday 20th January our regular hours are 8:00am – 4:00pm throughout term-time.
The office will be closed on Friday 24th January for Staff Training. The office email is office@mcerok.catholic.edu.au
Return to School Dates
Tuesday 28 January 2024 – Year 7, New Students and Year 12s
Wednesday 29 January 2024 – Year 8, 9, 10 and 11 students return
Information for New Students
- Students must arrive prior to the first bell of the day which is 8:35am.
- Formal Uniform must be worn on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (ties only required in Term 2 and Term 3 and special events).
- Sport Uniform can be worn each Wednesday.
- There will be an alternate program running on Tuesday 28 January to assist with transition.
- Students will not require all stationary items until Wednesday 29 January – students may prefer to bring a small amount each day.
- Students will need to supply their own locks for use with their school locker – students will have access to a locker on the first day of school.
Uniform Shop
The Uniform Shop will offer additional opening hours (see links at the bottom of the page) in the week prior to school commencing. Regular Opening Hours (below) will resume from Tuesday 28th January 2024 and continue throughout term time.
- Monday – 8:00am -10:30am
- Tuesday – 8:00am -10:30am
- Wednesday – 2:00pm – 4:30pm

Communication at Marist
At Marist College we have various channels of communication with our College Community. Some of which are listed below.
Newsletter – The College Newsletter is emailed to all families fortnightly and contains updates about upcoming events, photo galleries and wrap-up from past events, date claimers, congratulatory messages and community notices.
Parent Lounge/ Orbit App – By accessing Parent Lounge, you can view and update student medical information, contact details, attendance and view academic reports. This is also where you will make payment and grant permission for your child/ren to attend school events and activities. Click here to download the Parent Orbit App.
