Process for Enrolment – Year 7, 2023
Completing your Enrolment Application
Marist College has moved to an Online Enrolment System. Please read the ‘Application for Enrolment’ form carefully so you are aware of our expectations as far as your child’s enrolment at the College. We are all aware that secondary education is an important time when educational foundations are built upon, and seeds for the future are sown.

The online application is completed in three stages.
1. Expression of Interest – Part 1. Standard Collection Notice, Preliminary Requirements for this Form and Core Information
The following documentation will be required in PDF format to be attached when requested:
- Student’s Birth Certificate
- Latest School Report (Year 5 results can be submitted)
- Photo ID of BOTH Enrolling Parties (both parents listed on the Application Form), if using a Driver’s License please include both front and back
2. Enrolment Application – Part 2. Review the Core Information that you have already provided. Please read the information carefully and make any necessary changes or updates. Please also complete all required details for Medical Information, Emergency Contacts/Care Arrangements and Consents.
The following documentation will be required in PDF format to be attached when requested:
- Documentation relating to special needs (any medical reports, action plans, assessment, etc.)
- Court orders, parenting plans, access restrictions (if applicable)
- If the student was NOT born in Australia, Australian Citizenship Certificate and Passport and Current Visa Documentation
3. Payment of Enrolment Fee. There is an enrolment fee of $100. Once Part 1 and 2 are completed online you will receive another email with a link to our online payment portal.

Enrolment interviews
Applicants will be invited to attend an Enrolment Interview at the College. It is important that at least one parent or carer, along with the prospective student attend. The interview involves a more detailed explanation of the ethos and educational practices of Marist College and seeks a commitment to these practices. Tours of the College will be offered following the interview. You will be contacted by email with information regarding the interview booking process.
It is important to understand that offers of enrolment at the College are not made at the interview.
Offer of Enrolment
Successful applicants will be notified in writing. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified and offered a place on the waiting list.
Orientation
An Orientation Day will be conducted on 29th November 2022 for successful applicants.
Process for Enrolment – Year 7 to 12, 2022

There is no enrolment fee payable for applicants commencing in 2021.
- Enrolment interviews
The College Principal reviews all applications and successful applicants will be invited to attend an Enrolment Interview. Interviews take place at the College with the Principal or another senior member of staff.

It is important to realise that offers of enrolment at the school are not made at the interview.
